💌 THE RAIN DOESN’T LAST FOREVER

It hasn’t stopped raining here in three months.
Tasmania’s been relentless. Cold winter bleeding into a grey, sodden spring. Everything’s muddy. Everything’s heavy. Everything feels like it’s stuck.

And this morning, sitting with my tea watching the clouds roll in again, I realised: this is exactly what hard seasons in business feel like.

+ When your old tactics don’t move the needle anymore.

+ Forever having to pivot in a fast paced social environment.
When the sales dry up.

+ When the thing that was printing money last quarter suddenly… isn’t.

+ When you’re working twice as hard for half the results.
It feels personal. It feels permanent. It feels like maybe you’ve lost it, whatever “it” was that made things work before.

But here’s what the farm keeps teaching me:

Seasons don’t ask permission to change. They just do.

The rain doesn’t care that you’re tired of it. But it also doesn’t last forever. It can’t. That’s not how nature works.

Your hard season? Same thing.

The breakthrough is coming. The sun is coming. The growth is coming because of the rain, not despite it.

You’re not broken. Your business isn’t broken.
You’re just in the mud right now.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learnt building an empire while bouncing between countries, managing teams, and now building a farm, it’s this:

The entrepreneurs who win aren’t the ones who never face the rain.

They’re the ones who keep showing up while they’re soaking wet.

So if you’re in it right now, if it feels like nothing is working and everything is against you, I see you. I’m in it too some days.
But I also know: the storm always passes.

And what grows after is always stronger than what came before 🫶🏻
